Insurance::It was in Melun that the President of the French Insurance
Federation (FFA), Bernard Spitz and Juliette Méadel, Secretary of State
for Victim Assistance, signed a convention aimed at facilitating the
process Compensation.
On November 4, Bernard Spitz and Juliette Méadel met in Seine-et-Marne to take stock of the June floods. They were keen to exchange to avoid reiterating the compensation problems caused by the latest natural disasters.
Optimize coordination
One
of the main aims of this agreement and to improve the coordination
between the insurers, the services of the State and the companies of
expertise. As
stipulated in Article 1 of the Convention “The objective is to
facilitate and accelerate the identification and resolution of the
difficulties encountered by the victims”. This
convention will help the victims of the floods which took place in June
in the Île de France and in October in the Southeast. This agreement was signed for a period of two years.
